The biggest event in the gastronomy sector in the Upper Silesia – the 4th edition of Gastrosilesia Fair Trade is already behind us.

Weindich Company was the host of the 4th Gastrosilesia Fair Trade on September 13-14 that took place in its headquarters at 8 Adamieckiego Street in Chorzów. We hosted exhibitors from Poland and abroad as well as specialists from HoReCa industry: experts and companies setting new standards in gastronomy, and excellent chefs as Kurt Scheller and Wiesław Ambros. Our fair is an important point on a trade map in Silesia.

Our motto: New directions in gastronomy

This year’s edition was special as it took place in three exhibition halls. Our motto made this fair distinguishable – it stood for interesting lectures, excellent culinary shows and new technologies in a food industry.

The trade fairs attracted nearly 3000 guests, and more than 100 exhibitors. Our lectures attracted 712 participants. There were more than 8 hours of culinary shows hosted by the most famous chefs in Poland and visited by passionates and professionals of cuisine.

The great final of the 3rd Silesian Culinary Cup for gastronomic schools was an exciting event for participants and viewers.

A very Silesian element in an original form

Walls with pictures presenting a drift in Guide coal mine in Zabrze, the front of tenement house, a red bench from Nikiszowiec, a historic district of Katowice and people in traditional Silesian costumes.

Attractions for body and soul!

Visitors can count on many attractions as food truck jamboree or Gastrowiedza knowledge contest with plenty of prizes.

Today it can be said that the event was a great success.
